Though liberalization has opened up a host of entrepreneurial opportunities, most view entrepreneurship in a narrow manner and consider it as a last career option. This mainly stems from the belief that business is only for those who have a strong business and financial background. The truth, however, is that given the right orientation, training and counselling, entrepreneurs can be moulded.
The orientation of the course is towards job creation and not job-seeking and the thrust is on competency development alongside hard-skill development. The program offers inputs such as customer orientation, crisis management, creativity and problem-solving, seeking and acting on opportunities, business plan preparation, etc. PGPE is a program of EBS.
